Established in 1965, we offer delicious Chinese cuisine, featuring a wide range of authentic Cantonese, Teowchew, Hakka and Peranakan delights from a single kitchen.
Over time, the restaurant has gained a solid reputation and our customers come from all over the island, mainland, and even as far as Central and Southern Malaysia. As a nod to our 45-years-and-counting legacy and to ensure our customers' comfort, we recently moved to a more spacious and clean heritage building, a branding and uplifting exercise called TEKSEN, together with its trendy new logo and computerized ordering and billing system, have given the restaurant a contemporary appeal while simultaneously retaining its old-world charm. A simply decorated old steel chair painted in iconic blue, mirrors the restaurant's original decoration, exuding a sense of nostalgia that transports customers back to the time of the "Old Teik Seng Rice Stall".
